Otherwise the rules will be the same as Meadow Lakes with the exception that members shall be allowed to use a maximum of two rods only. Regardless of the amount of Angling Licences held. There shall also be no bivvies, tents or other structures allowed with the exception of normal umbrellas.

1st OCTOBER 2006

The Club are pleased to announce that with effect of the 1st October 2006
that we will have the angling rights along the Northampton Arm of the canal.
The fishery will extend from the bridge at the end of the Brittania AC water right the way down to and including the small piece of river at the bottom of the lock where the canal ends at Northampton.
The water is currently undergoing a large scale dredging program which should be complete with in the next two weeks.

Swan Valley

The Latest news is that as of the 25th of January 2005 the Club have gained a lease to the popular Swan Valley complex situated just outside town on the Banbury Lane. The fishery has in excess of forty pegs along the two banks we control and is known to hold good carp, roach bream, perch, pike and chub. It is river fed so water levels vary with the weather. There is no close season in effect so the water is available twelve months of the year. For any further details on the water call Richard 01604 762542.

The Club has an ongoing reciprocal arrangement with North Oxford Angling Association to allow members of each club to fish the other’s waters.
The waters around Oxford are something special! The Thames, Cherwell and Seacourt Stream are all different to our local rivers and the Oxford Canal has it’s own character. The agreement is that our bailiffs will accept the NOAS cards and their bailiffs will accept our card to allow the member to fish at no extra cost.
Northampton Nene members cannot hold matches on NOAS waters (nor they on ours) and Night Fishing is not allowed under this agreement.

Please be on your best behaviour and treat the waters with UTMOST RESPECT. Remember you will be an ambassador for our club  and a guest on someone else’s water.
For Further details call John Petch (01604 705205) or NOAS’s Andy Crisp on (01865 53800).
